The Cost of Not Keeping Your Car Clean
Want to keep your car insurance low? Keep your car clean.
If you've got a Pure Highway [or similar DAB radio] or a SatNav for your car, you're probably very careful about moving that expensive bit of kit out of sight when you leave your vehicle. But do you think about the marks made by the suction cups? Apparently scumbags are looking out for suction cup marks, breaking in and ransacking glove boxes for DAB sets and/or SatNavs.
So, remember to wipe your windscreen and dashboard.

Gosh I never thought about that Kenny.
Isn't it awful though? I mean even if there is nothing in sight thaty will still break in to go have alook around anyway if they want to. They never stop to think how much hardship they put the car owners through. Having to arrange for windows replaced is a nuisance and if you are on your way out to a meeting or work the cancellation or schedule rearranging can cause even more grief with loss of income or whatever.
One on occasion in a street in Chester every single car mirror had been kicked off. The vandals had literally walked the full length of the street leaving no car without damage.
And many years ago when I lived in Warrington fronted with a main road that cars parked along the vandals came out of the pub and walked across the top of every car jumping from bonnet to bonnet. You can imagine the damage it caused but things got worse than that. My next door neighbours elderly father came out of the house to confront them and ended up in massive argument which caused him to have a heart attack and die that evening.
On a lighter and more positive note: For every 1 vandal I'm sure there are a hundred good people or more doing good things to help others.
